VIPCare offers one-day, Saturday seminars for couples that plan to be married or who are recently married.  The seminars are designed to help you and your partner become acquainted at a deeper level and to enhance communication between the two of you.  They are designed to be used as an addition to the marriage preparation conferences with your minister.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn their own relationship styles and those of their partner.  The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator will be used to help identify patterns of interacting in relationships.Attention will focus on expectations for your future together and how you will resolve the inevitable conflicts that come with day-to-day living.  As you learn more about yourself and your partner, you will be able to appreciate the differences between the two of you.

The seminars will emphasize openness as the key to a satisfying relationship.  Practice sessions will teach fair and honest ways of communicating.  Being married means being in a special setting of closeness.  Participation in the Pre-Marriage Seminars will help you bring to your wedding day increased confidence.
